Face Mask III - Abstract Expressionism

A stylish and sophisticated 5-ply face mask with Nano filter.

Two contrasting Liberty Tana Lawn cotton fabrics are used, resulting in an exquisitely constructed face mask which is double-sided and reversible, ideal for matching different outfits.  

The outer layer for this face mask is the Melly Tana Lawn.  A hand painted abstract design inspired by Liberty's Pepper print, the result is stylish, Pollock-esque splatters.  The Melly fabric design was first created in 2010. It joined the classic Tana Lawn collection in 2012.

Developed in New York in the 1940s, Abstract Expressionism is a post-WWII art movement in American painting.  It was the first American movement to achieve international influence, a role previously assumed by Paris.

Each of the two Liberty fabrics is further supported by a layer of soft, non-woven interfacing.

This is a re-usable and washable face mask with a compartment for inserting a disposable Nano filter.  The face mask comes with two disposable Nano filters.  Additional Nano filters are available for purchase.

These new generation Nano filters have been specially imported from Korea, complete with laboratory testing certification. Tested with NaCI aerosol at inhalation flow rates of 95 litres/min and average particle size of 0.6 micrometer, these filters have a particle filtration efficiency in excess of 90%.  Please note, however, that this is not medical grade filter/face mask.

Care instructions:  This face mask is to be worn with the opening of the filter compartment at the bottom near the chin. The filter should be removed before washing the face mask.  When ironing the face mask after wash, avoid ironing the elastic ear loop including the part concealed within the face mask.
